Previously KNOT JUST PICS. Same shit, different name.

Val and Shane, I won’t lie, writing a little intro for you two here is tough as I know I really shouldn’t write a whole essay, but damn I want to! From our first Skype with Val and Shane we had an immediate connection with them on so many levels. Not least of all because we both were getting married/got married the first place we ever travelled to as a couple, for us Mozambique and for them Aruba, and they love travelling and their furkids as much as we do. When we finally met them we hit it off straight away while we explored the interior of Aruba for their portrait session and then getting to hang out and get to know all their friends and family for the whole weekend was so incredibly special for us. They got married on the beach at the Divi Phoenix Resort and honestly, it couldn’t have been more perfect. Guys, thank you so much for including us in your magical wedding adventure!

  • These babes are getting married tomorrow ๐Ÿ˜
  • All the love, light and petals. (Also I think Iโ€™m obsessed with confetti shots ๐Ÿ™ˆ)
  • One picture, so many moments... Nadine and her mom embrace as they walk down the aisle, Nadineโ€™s brother/SPโ€™s groomsman watches his mom give his sister away, and SP watches his beautiful wife step into his life forever. All the reasons we love the shit out of weddings!
  • 13 years of silliness, awesomeness, adventuring and just all round making life better. Eternally greatful to my drunk, younger self for asking out the cute dreadlocked boy 13 years ago - the night before he moved to London ๐Ÿ™ˆ
  • Those last few rays of that magic winter light! Claire and Adam under a cool old tree โ˜บ๏ธ

  • Roxy and Martin, at home this morning.
  • This desert winter light + Nadine and SP + these insane dunes = actual perfection ๐Ÿ˜

  • Room with a view @stayokayutrecht . Epic start to our month long Euro trip ๐Ÿ˜Š
  • Sossusvlei, Namibia. It's so dry your sweat crystallises as it leaves your pores. It is a desert after all. What a beautifully surreal and relentlessly harsh landscape.
  • Exploring the world's smallest desert. The red dunes only span about 200m and are surrounded by lush vegetation and wetlands.
  • Those gigantic eyes ๐Ÿ˜
  • Meeting "Ducky" the African wood owl had to be the highlight of our short Botswana adventure.

She was found on the forest floor on one of the small islands in the Okavango Delta. Tiny, vulnerable and featherlessly pink. The guys at @gumacamp took her home to nurture her back to health and, when she was ready, release her back into the wild. But despite all efforts to rehabilitate her back into the forest, she kept coming home to the lodge.

Ducky is now a healthy five year old who loves catching moths and mice. She also enjoys head strokes and chin scratches, but watch out for those talons...๐Ÿ˜ฌ Why the name "Ducky" for an owl? Summer gets relentlessly hot in the Delta, so Ducky cools off by swimming in the pond or sitting under the overflow pipe for the rainwater tanks.
Bless her feathery little heart!โค
  • That beehive-in-your-torso feeling of excitement (or is it anxiety?!) when you walk out over a runway to board a small plane. This is Maun International Airport, and our last few moments on Botswanan soil. Thanks @fly_airlink for helping make our excitement outweigh our anxiety.
  • One last sunset booz crooz on the Delta.
  • Papyrus for days. Just think of all the scrolls the ancient Egyptians could have made.
  • Another sexy Botswana sunset over the Delta
  • Exploring the Okavango Delta on a mokoro. We heard hippo grunting nearby and got the helloutofthere ๐Ÿ˜ณ
  • The great thing about a mokoro boat ride is that it's slow and silent, so you can get up close and discover the insane beauty in the details.
